why are book people on tiktok so horny. dont get me wrong, i don't have anything against smutty books, i'm an ao3 writer. but god these booktokers are so down bad. every time someone recomends a book on that god forsaken app there's some depressed bloberta puppington using her one braincel to type a pitiful "is it spicy?" in the comments. fucking air, or a battery powered boyfriend i guess.

now i'm not one of those people who's super up in arms about piracy, i literally have hshop on my 2ds because i don't think there's anything wrong with pirating a game they don't even sell anymore. HOWEVER i hate it when software pirates act like they're "sticking it to the man" or some shit. like no, you're not some anti-capitalist pioneer of the revolution, you just didn't give nintendo 60 quid. grow up. and don't even get me started on people who pirate indie games, especially unpopular ones.

480 TIME TRIALS I'LL DIE. WHY 480 15 SECOND TIME TRIALS AAAAAAAA!
(context) my first kirby game, (and also one of my first video games i ever played) was kirby and the rainbow paintbrush (rainbow curse to the americans) i used to play it with my mom but we were never any good at it. i come back to play it after like 5 years and decide that i'm gonna 100% the game. i complete every level (back then i skipped one when i played it with my mom cuz we kept dying, like 20 times on the first part of the level it was actually sad) got all the chests, gold in all the levels (fuck gondola journey btw) and the game was like "wow gg, now go do challenge mode." i'm like "ok." i go to challenge mode and hit the first level and it's like "hello, this is the one minute challenge. 4 levels, 15 seconds per level" i'm like "ok, time trials. i don't like time trials but it's fine, the other levels will be different stuff right?"
3 more levels in, they're all time trials. i'm fed up of time trials so i go to check out the other levels. level 12? it's time trials. 24? time trials. 69? still time trials. any number THEYRE ALL GODDAMN TIME TRIALS ALL OF THEM. oh oh but they're not all the one minute challenge nooooo, some of them are some other bullshit where you have to do 12 of these FUCKING 15 SECOND TIME TRIALS IN A ROW AND IF YOU MISS ONE YOU'RE DEAD. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIME TRIALS THAT IS? I did the maths and to complete challenge mode I HAVE TO DO 480 OF THESE 15 SECOND TIME TRIALS!!! THATS 45 MINUTES OF TIME TRIALS IF I PLAY PERFECTLY. BUT I AM SHIT AT TIME TRIALS SO IT'LL PROBABLY BE LIKE 3 HOURS OF FUCKING DETESTABLE TIME TRIAL BULLSHIT!! AGH!!!
